Refund Policy

KERN RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC is committed to shipping accurate, well-documented orders. Due to the nature of research chemicals — which must be handled under controlled conditions and whose integrity cannot be verified once opened — our refund policy reflects necessary constraints alongside a genuine commitment to making things right when errors occur on our end.

Refund or replacement requests must be submitted within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date.

We will issue a full refund or replacement for:

• —Incorrect product received — you received a compound different from what you ordered
• —Damaged in transit — product arrived damaged due to carrier mishandling (photo documentation required)
• —Defective packaging — vial seal compromised or product visibly contaminated upon receipt
• —Non-delivery — order confirmed lost in transit and not recovered after a carrier trace

Due to the nature of research chemicals:

• —Opened vials — once a vial seal has been broken, we cannot accept it back. We cannot verify the integrity of returned product and cannot assume responsibility for how it was stored or handled after delivery.
• —Change of mind — we do not accept returns or issue refunds for buyer's remorse or a change in research direction.
• —Customs seizure or legal issues — if a shipment is seized by customs authorities or is subject to legal action in your jurisdiction, we are not responsible. It is your responsibility to understand the legality of importing research chemicals in your jurisdiction.
• —Claims submitted after 30 days — we cannot process refund or replacement requests outside the 30-day window.

2. 02Include your order number, the specific product(s) in question, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos if applicable

4. 04Do not return any product without receiving written authorization from us first

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of approval. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider.

Replacement orders for eligible claims are shipped within 2 business days of approval.
